Estonia : "Lööb suvelaulu rohutirts"

Hello again! It is so good to be back in the Schoolovision world.

Our song is about summer and joy. The cold and long winter is over and spring is here. I'm sorry that you can't see many blossoms or leaves in our video - we are still waiting for them. But the Sun is here and our beautiful old town is shining in the sunlight.

The children are eight years old and we have tried to mix the past and the future by playing traditional instruments such as the violin, cello, bongas, recorders etc and future instruments like iPADs.

Enjoy and good luck to all!

Ingrid and Ly from Estonia

And it's wonderful to have you back in the team Ingrid! :-)
These children are so musical, I just love listening to them and watching them play. The iPad guitar app looks brilliant! I also noticed one of the boys in that scene wearing a top with a distinctly Scottish name- McGregor!
The song's just great- and makes us think of summer here! I also liked the views around Tallinn :-)

Good luck from Scotland!

Dear friends from Estonia,
I do love your entry. It's so musical! And the children are great singers (first of all) and very good musicians and actors. This is the song I want to listen to again and again...
And of course the views of Tallinn are awesome!
Good luck from Ukraine!

Love! Love! Love!

Dear Ingrid, I think you can imagine me saying "Oh, I know this place. I've been there. How wonderful." again and again while excitedly watching your entry.

Since the eTw PDW some years ago I've been a great fan of Tallinn and Estonians.
So basically you could present just anything here and I would jump for joy. It is just so wonderful to listen to your language.

Anyway, you didn't present just anything. This is a top class musical piece of art but still full of fun and witty ideas. Once more we can hear wonderful voices, see great musicians, follow a nice tune and see kids who obviously enjoy what they are doing.

Congratulations to this very nice entry!

The "tcha tcha" is one of my favourite bits. :-)

Hello Estonia,
I was actually the first to comment but I clicked on something and the page refreshed and my comment just got lost:(
So, I'll just comment again:)
I love the fact that your students play the musical instruments in the video! Vocally it's also absolutely great! and the girls' funky chah-chah-chah is my favourite part:) And your place is so amazing!

Hi Estonia,

What an excellent entry this is! Your children not only sang this song perfectly, but they played the instruments too and they did it quiet brilliantly! The song is very "warm" and joyful!

I liked you mixing up the traditional and the modern in your song! The views of you town are very interesting!

I agree with Steffen, a top class performance with a lot of joy and enthusiasm!
